The school’s sound and varied program prepares students for postsecondary education by emphasizing personal commitment and excellence.

Gisèle-Lalonde is accredited by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), offers the IBO Middle Years Programme (grades 7 to 10) and its Diploma Programme (grades 11 and 12). These two demanding and in-depth programs stimulate student intellectual curiosity and develop critical thinking, independence and initiative in acquiring knowledge, skills and abilities.

Through enriched courses and compulsory community service, International Baccalaureate courses encourage global learning and intercultural receptiveness, and are recognized around the world. Universities acknowledge the depth and scope of the work undertaken by students enrolled in the International Baccalaureate programs.

G-L highlights

  • In my home country, everything is small and compact, and here it is huge. There are big sports clubs, people have t-shirts with the name of their school and teachers are very nice. If you have a problem, you can go see them.
