Medical Insurance

Medical, hospital and dental care in Canada can be very expensive. Coverage for these services is not granted to international students by the government public health plan. It is therefore necessary that international students have medical insurance during their stay in Canada.

The moment the student applies for the programme, he/she will be asked to pay C$515 to obtain medical-insurance. Provided by the insurance company Ingle, this insurance provides a complete coverage.

Once the student arrives in Canada, he/she will receive a health card that will cover them for a period of 12 months recognized by over 30, 000 establishments and health centers across Canada, who will then directly invoice and bill the insurance company for all of the student’s acquired services.

  • In my home country, everything is small and compact, and here it is huge. There are big sports clubs, people have t-shirts with the name of their school and teachers are very nice. If you have a problem, you can go see them.
